MEET THE FOUNDER
Having fallen in love with watching his mother conduct a weekly pamper session with her girlfriends, Christophe Robin always knew he wanted to work with hair. At 15 he began as an apprentice in his hometown parlour, and by 17 he was working in Paris within the renowned Jean-Louis David salons. Here Christophe was lucky enough to be able to work within the fashion industry at the beginning of the ‘Supermodel Era.’ When he coloured Stephanie Seymour’s hair for a photoshoot for L’Oréal (after she was adamant about not dying her hair), she passed her number to Elle MacPherson, and within six months he was looking after the manes of every top model in the industry. What set Christophe Robin apart from other stylists was his need to maintain the health of the hair, and not compromise it for the ‘look’ that the client was after. He began creating what he calls ‘caring’ products that look to keep the integrity of the strands as healthy as possible.
